Biography
On September 18, 1975, Innocent Ujah Idibia, better known by his stage as 2Baba, was born in Nigeria. He is a singer, musician, composer, producer, and philanthropist who specializes in Afrobeat.
He is also an entrepreneur, a humanitarian, and a social activist. 2face is one of the most prominent vocalists in the African music field.He was the first champion of MTV Europe.
Early life
He is a southerner. From Benue state native of the Idoma ethnic group. He spent his formative years at Mount St. Gabriel’s Secondary School in Makurdi, Benue State.He pursued his study further at the Institute of Management & Technology (IMT), Enugu, where he received a National Diploma in Business Administration and Management.
When he was still in school, he had performed at planned events and plays.He then dropped out of school to concentrate on his singing career. In 1996, he is believed to have decided on the stage moniker 2face (Tuface).
He claimed that in order to distinguish between my personal and professional lives, he adopted that name. But he formally changed his stage name from Tuface to 2Baba in 2016.
Education
2Baba studied at Mount St. Gabriel’s Secondary School in Makurdi, Benue State. He pursued his study further at the Institute of Management & Technology (IMT), Enugu. Where he received a National Diploma in Business Administration and Management.
He eventually quit going to college though so he could focus solely on his career as a musician.
Career
Each band member went their own solo musical career after he left and the band split up in 2004 due to internal conflict. Later, in 2004, he released Face 2 Face, his debut solo album, turning him into a popular solo singer.Later, in 2006, he released Grass 2 Grace, his second album.
He started the HYPERTEK ENTERTAINMENT music publishing company.He also signed a contract with Kennis Music at first, then left and started Hypertek Entertainment. He is a part of the Sony All African One Project, which also includes seven other African vocalists.
Additionally, Guinness, Nigerian Breweries, and many other organizations have used 2Baba as an ambassador. As Oraimo’s first and official brand ambassador, 2Baba made his debut in 2019.

Nigerian beauty and award-winning actress Annie Macaulay-idibia is wed to 2Baba. They exchanged vows in a private ceremony on May 2, 2012, in Lagos, Nigeria.They also took place on March 23, 2013, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with numerous celebrities in attendance.
They were blessed with the birth of two daughters, Olivia Idibia and Isabella Idibia.Additional women that 2Baba dated in the past include Sumbo Ajala-Adeoye and Pero Adeniyi.
